The new Classic Player Jaguar Special HH guitar turbocharges the time-honored Jaguar model with several thoroughly modern improvements, including dual humbucking pickups, innovative electronics that include a blend-able coil tap for greater tonal versatility than ever, a 9.5" fingerboard radius and a neck pocket with increased back-angle for improved stability and sustain.
- Two Enforcer humbucking pickups are wired to serve up raw, aggressive power and the jangly sweetness of single-coils. Plus, the shorter 24" scale makes playing larger chords, string-bending, and fast runs much easier.
- The trem-plate moved closer to the bridge increases the break-angle giving this model greater sustain than the originals.

| 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful  Excellence., This review is from: Fender Classic Player Jaguar� Special Electric Guitar, Candy Apple Red, Rosewood Fretboard (Electronics) I was a little apprehensive about the CP Jaguar as I wasn't sure about the Made in Mexico quality; I'd had a Strat which was fairly poor in finish and quality which made me a little leery.I needn't have worried. The Jaguar is simply as good as any guitar I have owned [Gibsons, Fenders, Gretsches, you name it...) and the fit and finish is as high as it could possibly be. I am also thrilled at the sheer weight of the thing; it weighs a ton and subsequently rings like a bell and sustains well beyond what one might expect in a Jaguar. The new bridge and tremelo setup works very, very well. It stays in tune ~!~ and the intonation on my factory setup modell was spot-on. The updated, hotter pickups works very well and the tone range is particularly wide with my Fender Blues Jr III amp. All in all I can wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend the Class Player Jaguar. I'm so pleased with mine that I placed an order for the Jazzmaster too. It's *that*... The finish and build quality is excellent. The guitar is very versatile as well. You can get a variety of tones from warm to dirty so it really works for almost any type of music one wants to play. The shorter scale neck is a little different at first but its fine once you get used to it. Also, it is a little heavy compared to a strat or tele, but I think this just adds to it's fantastic tone. I would definitely purchase this guitar again and I recommend this guitar to anyone thinking about purchasing it. Don't be frightened by the fact that it's made over the Border in Mexico (silly anyways). I have American Strats and American Teles and this guitar stands right next to them.In fact, it's my favorite guitar: It plays so easy, like a dream. I bought it for a Surf Guitar sound and was not disappointed. But you can actually get some jazz sounds out of it too. You could probably play anything it except for Shred and Metal. They're hard to get hold of but if you want one, now's the time... |
