Things like: - a tight-grained solid spruce top - a rosewood bridge - a bone nut and saddle - an East Indian rosewood fingerboard - a carved mahogany neck with a dovetail neck joint - mahogany back and sides - vintage-style quality open-back tuners are just some of the impressive details. One downside: In the recent past, this model has been sold with the Saga Golden Gate hardshell case included (most online retailers sold it that way). The action is as easy as an electric and the tone is balanced and beautiful. The Fishman PREFIX Plus-T preamp with built in tuner does a great job of reproducing the tone, but seriously, you don't need to plug it in for gigs in small rooms. It's plenty loud. |
