The fabric itself is very thin, but it is sturdy and very soft. I use these both with non-rinse cleansing fluid and also in the bath with soap. They don't shrink in the dryer and have held up through multiple wash cycles. The only issue I have with these wash cloths is the size..... they are so small that I don't see them being very useful once my daughter is a toddler. She is only 9 weeks old now however, so I'm sure we will get lots of use out of these in the next several months.The colors on the edges are really cute, the fabric is extra soft organic cotton flannel, and overall I have very much enjoyed using them.
