It is made from all natural products no chemical components, it has to be kept in the refrigerator to make sure it does not go bad. It is also in a glass bottle, so I am not worried about any plastic contaminants getting into my kid's system. It is sweet with a little bit of a sour case to it, but my daughter who has been taking it since she was a young toddler loves the taste.
